In 1992 AD, the Manaslu Circuit Trek, a trekking destination referred to as untouched, opened its gates to visitors, lying in the lap of Manaslu, the eighth highest peak in the world. The mystical adventure of the Manaslu Circuit Trek takes travellers to see mountains, glaciers, a substantial snow-capped Peak, narrow river valleys, wild animals, and a lush green forest full of wildlife. As part of the Manaslu Circuit Trek, we follow the Budi Gandaki River, once a salt trading route during ancient times. Day-01:
Arrive in Kathmandu, & check into a hotel.
Day-02:
Prepare for the trek with equipment checks, permit preparation, and introductions with a guide and porters. B
Day 3:
In the early morning, take the bus to Sotikhola (650m). (141.3 km/7h) Overnight in Sotikhola Hotel, the town of Soti is famous for the marketing of local people, mainly from the northern part of Nepal. It is located on the banks of Budi Gandaki River, which Tsum Valley and Larke Pass feed. – B, L, D.
Day-04 :
The walking distance between Sotikhola and Machhakhola is 14.1 km (869 meters, about 6-7 hours). Most of the way is along the Budhi Gandaki river. If the weather permits, you can see waterfalls, monkeys, rice fields, lush forests, and Ganesh Himal. – B, L, D.
Day-05:
The walking distance from Machhakhola to Jagat is 22.2 km (1340m) and takes 7 hours. Today’s main attractions will be the Ganesh Himal view, Sringihimal, waterfall, stone-paved path, MCAP office, and a specially restricted area starting from Jagat.t. – B, L, D.
Day-06:
The walking distance from Jagat to Deng is 19.9 km (6-7 hours/1860m) – B, L, D.
Day-07:
The distance from Deng (1860m) to Namrung (2630m) is 18.9 kilometers. You will see Sringi, Ganesh and Kutang Himal en route. -B, L, D.
Day-08:
We will walk from Namrung to Lho, 10.5 km (3180 m, 4/5hrs). Today we get to see Manaslu, and especially the real excitement of Larke is going to start today. -B, L, D.
Day-09:
The walking distance from Loho to Sama is 8 km (3520m) (3-4 hours). The first town we will visit is Shyala. One of the best views in this region is to see only the mountains from town. So the highlights of the day will be seeing: Manaslu, HimalChuli, Nadipeak, Naikepeak, Kutang Himal, Pangbuche Himal, Stupa, Maniwalla, etc. -B, L, D.
Day-10:
Day of acclimatisation, we will hike around Birendra Lake/Manaslu Base Camp or Pungen Gumpa after breakfast. Our guide will discuss which kind of hike will be best for your fitness, weather, and desires. -B, L, D.
Day 11
The distance from Sama to Samdo is 7.8 k, and the camp (3850m) is known as a refugee camp for Tibetans. After lunch, we can hike around the hill for better acclimatisation if you have energy. – B, L, D.
Day-12:
A distance of 6.5 km can walk from Samdo to Dharmasala (4460m, 5 hours) – B, L, D.
Day-13:
The trip from Dharmasala to Larke La (5160m) was followed by an overnight stay in Bhimthang (3530m). It is one of the most important days of the trip for views and adventure. It takes us about 8-9 hours to reach Bhimthang, which might be the best accommodation for the trek and the right place to celebrate Larke’s success. – B, L, D.
Day-14:
Bhimthang to Goa (17km, 2500m) in 6 or 7 hours. The whole way down, descending. – B, L, D.
Day-15:
A trek from Goa to Jagat via Dharapani, part of the Annapurna route, takes approximately 6/7 hours. – B, L, D.
Day-16:
Afterwards, take a jeep drive to Besisahar, then take a bus to Kathmandu (about 7-8 hrs). -B, L.
Day-17:
The last day of your trip! Our representative will drop you off at the airport, or you can extend your stay. –B
